Hello Judith,
I'm a new treasurer & was starting to get worried about the responsibilities & duties it entails. It was so nice to get your message first thing this morning and know that we treasurers are not in this alone - we have folks that not only have our backs, but will even teach us what we should be doing and how to improve!  What a wonderful way to start off a Friday! Thank you so much for the kind message and I certainly am looking for the learning opportunities though this eGroup.

Well, as some of you may know, I had to resign my commission as Treasurer for the California Division. Very heartbreaking for someone who is a bit on the perfectionist side of the coin; but very necessary for the good of the Division and for my health. I hope to continue my journey in IAAP, just a bit slower on the leadership side.

I continue to be active in my chapter as Newsletter Editor and member of the Education & Certification Committee (a pet passion for me) as well as a mentor to newer members. I hope to get back on the leadership track next year--being positive that my health issues will be managable--at least at the Chapter level.
